Tottenham Hotspur extended their winning run in the Premier League to four matches with victory over Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park, maintaining their lead at the top of the table. The meteoric rise under Ange Postecoglou’s stewardship has been nothing short of exemplary, and against the Eagles, while not at their best, Spurs got the job done and brandished their title-winning credentials after securing a 2-1 victory. Whereby last season only brought misery and a fourth managerial dismissal in as many years following Antonio Conte’s sacking in March, there is now a tangible possibility that silverware – a premium so agonisingly out of reach for so long at…
Ange Postecoglou, the manager of Tottenham Hotspur, has praised Emerson Royal for his performance against Crystal Palace last night. Spurs increased their lead at the top of the table to five points with yet another victory. As usual, Son Heung-min and James Maddison are receiving excellent accolades for their performances, but Postecouglou praised his replacements, particularly Emerson. Tottenham were without Destiny Udogie last night because of an injury. The Italian has been a revelation at Spurs since the start of the season, and it was a shame that he was not available for Ange Postecoglou last night. The Tottenham boss went with Ben Davies at left-back…
Tottenham ended up winning yet again last night as they clung on to seal another three points at Crystal Palace. An own goal from Joel Ward set them on their way before a fine goal from Heung-Min Son ensured the points were wrapped up. Jordan Ayew did get one back, but Spurs held firm to go five clear at the top. The season is going remarkably well for Tottenham. Their defense, led by new addition Micky van de Ven and Cristian Romero, has been a major factor in their success. Speaking of Van de Ven, Gary Neville of Sky Sports thinks the…
According to sources who spoke to Football Insider, Tottenham and Fulham will compete to capture Stuttgart striker Serhou Guirassy in the January transfer window. Fulham’s first priority is a striker, and Football Insider reported on Friday, October 27, that Marco Silva will likely receive funding to spend in the winter window. Among the Premier League’s lowest scorers, Fulham has not yet found a replacement for talisman Aleksandar Mitrović, who moved to Al-Hilal in the summer. Tottenham, though, is also keeping an eye on Guirassy, the hot striker. The Guinean international’s Stuttgart contract includes a release clause of approximately £15 million.…
January transfer rumors about Southampton forward Che Adams could surface; Everton and Crystal Palace were previously connected. Adams has received a new contract offer, but he has not accepted it, leaving the Saints to consider selling him or forfeiting him for nothing. Adams remained at St Mary’s this summer following the Saints’ relegation from the Premier League, despite being linked with a number of Premier League clubs. Everton were reportedly in talks with…
