The Miz reacts to Dolph Ziggler’s termination.
On September 21, WWE made a number of cuts, and former World Heavyweight Champion Dolph Ziggler was one of the more notable exits. After making his debut with WWE in 2004, Ziggler enjoyed a successful run as Nicky of the Spirit Squad. He was later rebranded, and in 2008, he made his debut as Ziggler. His feud with The Miz, which included a Title vs. Career battle at WWE No Mercy 2016, was one of Ziggler’s career high points.
The Miz wrote on Instagram that he thought the No Mercy encounter was one of his best matches ever. He added that the buildup to the match had been excellent. Every time they collaborated, according to Miz, Dolph Ziggler brought out the best in him. He added that he’ll miss it but is excited to watch what the former world champion does next.
