Trent Williams is listed by the 49ers as questionable for Sunday’s game against the Jaguars. It’s a must-win game, and the 49ers just can’t seem to win without him, so I’m assuming he will most likely play.
Williams’ ankle injury and their current three-game losing streak are related. After hurting himself early in the 49ers’ game against the Browns, he continued to play, but missed the next two games. He was still limited in this week’s practices even though he had a bye week to recuperate. indicating that he hasn’t fully healed. Furthermore, he might not fully recover this season. I dunno.
Williams’ injured ankle could make or break the 49ers’ season.
The 49ers at least have a run game to play with Williams
his side, in addition to possibly the best pass defender in history. He has that much of an impact. However, at 35, he’s losing it. The 49ers will not make the playoffs if he misses a significant amount of time this season.
