Judd Trump continued his early-season success as he completed a 6-4 comeback win over Barry Hawkins to reach the Northern Ireland Open final.
Trump has been in excellent form of late and has the Huangguoshu Open, English Open and Wuhan Open, as well as the Masters earlier this year, to his name.
Hawkins won the 2023 European Masters where he trailed Trump 7-6 before racing back to a 9-6 victory for his only title win of the season so far.
Hawkins took the first three frames, with a half-century break of 58 in the second, before Trump struck 90 to get onto the scoreboards.
Another half century, this time 75, was enough to give Hawkins back his three-frame advantage.
Trump showed his class with another big break of his own, with one visit returning 70 points in a 90-0 frame win.
A second 70 break reduced the deficit to a single frame for Trump, and he then battled to go level in the first-to-11 tie.
Trump scrapped to a 62-49 win to go ahead for the first time in the match, taking him a frame from victory and the final.
He saved the best until last, with an expert break of 128 taking him into the Sunday’s finale, where he will take on Chris Wakelin, who defeated Jack Lisowski in the other semi-final.
