A strong showing today, particularly in the first half. We had a little wobble after the break as they scored (shame we couldn’t maintain a clean sheet) and intensified their attack. Thankfully, we were a little more resilient this time, and the substitutions actually worked, so Martin deserves some credit—even though I’m not quite sure I believe it yet. At the conclusion of the season, a play-off spot must now be a realistic goal.
Bravo, RM, and congratulations, Saints! strong, commanding display of football played in a beautiful way. I thought we played well and did not panic when they scored.
The typical posters will still rant on here, as they always do. In a moment, Rinse and Repeat will be here to tell us where the problems are. I hope he’s not watching Arsenal play; he’ll be tearing out his hair with that sideways passing and possession without many goals.
