After securing their greatest victory of the year, the New England Patriots are attempting to salvage their season. The Miami Dolphins, who lead the AFC East with a 5-2 record, are the team to face next in that quest.
Given that they already played in Week 2, it is clear that the Patriots and Dolphins are familiar with one another. At Gillette Stadium, Miami prevailed 24–17, but both teams have undergone significant change since early September.
The trip to Miami for New England will be another opportunity to “get right”; it will be a chance to pull off an unexpected win and gradually move up the AFC playoff standings.
