Savio, a Brazilian sensation that is supposedly attracting interest from Tottenham, has stated that he hopes to play for Manchester City in the future.
Savio, who made his debut at Atletico Mineiro, first made his way to Europe in 2022 when he signed with Troyes.
With three goals and four assists in ten La Liga games thus far, the young player has had a fantastic start to his career. He spent the previous season on loan at PSV Eindhoven before moving on loan once more to Girona this summer (Transfermarkt).
Manchester City is owned by the City Football Group, which also includes the French and Spanish teams.
Tottenham is reportedly keeping an eye on Savio, a 19-year-old who can play as a number eight through the middle or on either flank. According to TEAMtalk, the North London team has been impressed with Savio’s performances thus far this season.
Notwithstanding his ties to Spurs, Savio is focused on Man City.
The young player has since acknowledged that he is considering a future move to Man City, though.
“The City Group’s project is first class, and I think that if I do well, Manchester City will want me,” Savio is cited as saying to Marca.

Given that the Lilywhites appear to be their potential direct competitors in the not-too-distant future under Postecoglou, I doubt the City Group would want to let Savio leave for Tottenham if they think he is an exciting prospect.
