More than anybody, Fabrizio Romano understands how to excite supporters, and in this instance, his discussion on Jamal Musiala’s future in his Caughtoffside Daily Briefing has Chelsea’s (and a few other teams’) Twitter accounts aglow.
The Bayern Munich player appears to be a future superstar, if he isn’t already, and as his current contract draws to an end, Romano reports that there is “no agreement with Bayern over a new deal.”
He is compared to Jude Bellingham by Romano, who calls him a “generational talent.” That is supported by what we have seen of him thus far for Bayern and Germany.
Since Musiala graduated from Chelsea’s academy, we are unavoidably included among the teams attempting to get him to return
the Premier League. We’d say we’re some way off making that happen – but then again he’s some way off leaving Bayern.
Maybe this will all line up nicely for us? It’s a sore wound that we developed him and never got to see him play for us, so getting him back would be amazing.
