Jack Conklin Makes Audacious Remark Regarding Return.
While quarterback Deshaun Watson and running back Nick Chubb received much of the attention from Browns supporters during the summer, a number of other players from the previous team are also making a comeback from injuries that ended their seasons in 2024.
Jack Conklin, an offensive tackle for Cleveland, is one of them.
The veteran is recuperating from many surgeries he had following his departure from the September 10, 2023, season-opening victory over Cincinnati.
This offseason, Conklin is discussing his recuperation process publicly for the first time.
In a forceful Instagram post published late on Saturday night, the lineman informed Browns supporters that he was prepared to make a comeback in 2024.
“Dark knights may exist, but the first person to emerge from the pit was Bane! (sic)” according to Nick Chubb, with whom I spoke. Conklin included the hashtag #Imback in the caption of his photos.
Conklin called his wife Caitlyn his “rock” and praised her for being there for him during the recovery process.
Conklin shared a photo of himself and his spouse celebrating their union along with a photograph of the well-known DC villain.
Chubb shared two emojis in response to the post: a picture of a bat and a graphic of a face with a wind stream coming from the nose.
There aren’t many social media comments of any kind for the offensive tackle.
Conklin has not posted anything on Instagram or Twitter prior to these images and his statement from 2020, and he has been silent on social media for almost three years.
