Recently, the Indiana Fever defeated the Phoenix Mercury 88-82 in a thrilling and intense game. During one play, Indiana rookie Kahleah Copper of the Mercury team fouled the Indiana team. A few seconds later, Clark made an unexpected and surprising move to prevent Copper from being hit in the head by the ball, but Copper was not fully aware of what was happening and responded with a few words and a strong gesture toward Caitlin.
Kahleah is calmed down by Phoenix veteran Diana Taurasi and her teammates when they witness the entire incident and understand Clark’s intention to shield Copper from a strike to the head.
