SO DISRESPETFUL: Arch Manning made a “DISRESPETFUL” Statement About Steve Sarkisian after…
After traveling to New Orleans and watching a practice at Isidore Newman, I got to see Arch Manning today. Manning missed practice today due to some wrist soreness from an injury, but it doesn’t seem like a major setback because he is slated to play in his team’s spring game on Thursday. I was kind of shocked to see how mature Manning already is physically. Given the family genetics, it should come as no surprise that he has a well-developed lower body and is further ahead in his upper body development than most sophomores in high school. I was a little taken aback by Manning’s size in a world where recruitment measures are rarely reliable if they aren’t confirmed. Additionally, I was happy to see the manner Manning didn’t throw today, but he carried himself well. He worked with the team’s younger quarterbacks and was always involved. Additionally, he performed whatever task assigned by the coaches, such as playing the position of a linebacker during RPO drills or snapping the ball in 7-on-7. You wouldn’t ever get the impression from speaking with him afterwards that he is related to the most well-known football family. Steve Wiltfong has been involved in this hiring process from the start and is an expert at connecting with the appropriate people. People should pay attention to him when he claims that Texas is at the center of this election. I will support him by telling you that, based on the response I received today, the Longhorns are doing an amazing job. With Steve Sarkisian and A.J. Milwee leading the way for the 2023 five-star, this is essentially a two-man show. When it comes to recruiting Manning, Arch and his head coach Nelson Stewart have nothing but praise for the work those two have done being genuine and true. It’s simple to understand why when you take into account Sark’s track record of quarterback development and the offensive he leads.
Texas is a promising early contender. Don’t undervalue the work that Milwee is doing, even though Sark will make the headlines. When I inquired about the Texas quarterback coach, Manning seemed to light up and said he was someone he would want to play for. Arch even expressed his wish that he wouldn’t be hired out of Texas. Milwee isn’t something we hear much of, but he takes center stage in this recruitment.
There appears to be a growing bond between Manning and several other 2023 players. He mentioned Rueben Owens and Johntay Cook as two names. The three have enjoyed getting to know one another after connecting on social media. Manning stated that the two were fantastic to converse with, and he desired to be able to play with outstanding players everywhere. In June, Manning will be at Texas with Cook and Owens, and he can’t wait to see them in person. Will Randle, a tight end for the 2023 Isidore Newman team, will travel with Manning as well.
