🚨BREAKING NEWS:
Pittsburgh According to Aaron Wilson of KPRC2, the Pittsburgh Steelers paid a visit to free agent linebacker and former Washington Commander Khaleke Hudson.
Out of Michigan, Hudson, 26, was selected by Washington in the fifth round of the 2020 NFL Draft. He was a local McKeesport high school football player, thus the Steelers probably knew him for a very long time. He has participated in 58 games, including 12 starts, over his four years in the NFL, all with the Commanders. He has accumulated 108 tackles, seven tackles for loss, and one sack.
After switching from safety to inside linebacker the previous season, Hudson ended up starting eight games for the Commanders in the inside position. In his first complete season at the position, he racked up 74 tackles.
Elandon Roberts, Mark Robinson, Patrick Queen, and Cole Holcomb are the current members of the Steelers’ roster; however, it is presently unknown when Holcomb will make a comeback from his ACL injury. As a result, the group is researching alternate possibilities.
They met with a number of prospects at the NFL Combine and have examined draft picks. In case they need to add more players to their 90-man roster, they are now considering free agent possibilities as a means of adding depth.
