Joe Burrow’s offseason looks to include some R&R, sandy beaches and maybe even a little bit of gardening.
The Bengals quarterback’s girlfriend, Olivia Holzmacher, posted a carousel of Instagram images from her January follies on Wednesday, showing her vacationing somewhere with clear water, palm trees and beach-side seating.
She also listened to Tame Impala’s “Currents” LP on vinyl and tended to her plants — and got in some boyfriend time with Burrow.
01/2024 says, “she wrote as the post’s caption. “Discovered the sun, found the record player, and faced my green thumb.”
In 2017, Holzmacher and 27-year-old Burrow crossed paths at Ohio State.
She stayed in Columbus to pursue her studies in social sciences and data analytics, while he went to LSU in order to help the Tigers win an NCAA championship.
Holzmacher is employed by Kroger as a senior process specialist and analyst,
He’s having a better offseason with Holzmacher; the two of them are already living it up and spending time at the $7.5 million house Burrow bought last year.
Joe Mixon, a running back for the Bengals, lives next door, and they have plenty of space in their 7,300-square-foot house to play loud vinyl records and a three-acre plot to practice their gardening talents.
When Burrow was selected first overall by the Bengals in 2020, he returned to Ohio and became an NFL star very soon.
He led Cincinnati to the 2022 Super Bowl in his second NFL season, but they were defeated by the Rams 23–20.
The next season, an attempt to duplicate the feat was unsuccessful in the AFC Championship game.
The quarterback’s 2023 campaign was difficult; following a five-year, $275 million contract extension, he injured his calf during training camp and was ultimately sidelined in Week 11 due to a torn wrist ligament.
