Bayern Munich prepare offer in excess of €80 million for Barcelona mainstay
Bayern Munich is still very interested in signing Ronald Araujo, a defensive stalwart for Barcelona, in the summer, as has already been established.
The Uruguayan international was courted by the Bundesliga champions in January, but their efforts were unsuccessful. They still want the 25-year-old sensation in the summer, though, and are not willing to give up on him yet.
There is a new development on the subject, as it was previously reported earlier this week. Bayern Munich is already planning how to sign Araujo from Barcelona in the summer.
Munich is planning an offer for Araujo that exceeds €80 million.
Bayern Munich is reportedly planning an offer above €80 million to persuade Barcelona to sell Ronald Araujo in the summer, according to SPORT.
Furthermore, the Bavarian Giants are willing to provide the 25-year-old defender a high-paying contract that exceeds Barça’s offer to persuade him to join them in the summer.
Even though Araujo’s present contract expires in2026, Barcelona is fully aware of the circumstances and is attempting to offer him a new and better one.
The goal for the Blaugrana is to sign a new contract with their third captain before the season ends.
Bayern Munich, according to the source, is certain that Barça will be unable to renew Araujo and will have to sell him. They are therefore getting ready to make the defender an offer that exceeds €80 million.
Happy with Barcelona, Araujo’s future is up to the team.
Speaking following Barcelona’s UEFA Champions League victory over Napoli earlier this week, Araujo stated that he is thrilled to be a part of the team but asserted that The Catalans hold the key to his future.
“The club determines my destiny. It goes without saying that I am thrilled to be at Barça. And Xavi has my sincere gratitude,” Araujo remarked.
Araujo is obviously content playing for Barcelona and won’t make a concerted effort to leave. Barcelona appears to be dedicated to giving him a better wage and extending his contract.
However, considering the club’s financial circumstances, it will take time to see how things turn out.
