2024 NRL Signings Tracker: Manly release Fulton; Izack inks new deal
Zac Fulton, a forward for Manly, was released from his contract in order to play with the Bradford Bulls in the English second division.
The 22-year-old will play the remaining games of the 2024 Championship season with Bradford at the request of Fulton and his management.
The grandson of Manly icon Bob Fulton recently played for the Indigenous All Stars in Townsville and made his lone NRL debut for the Sea Eagles in 2022.
Sea Eagles CEO Tony Mestrov said, “We thank Zac for all of his efforts at Manly and wish him the very best with the next chapter of his rugby league journey.”
Izack Tago, a two-time premiership-winning Panther, has agreed to a new three-year contract that would see the star center stay in Penrith till the 2028 season’s conclusion.
The news was released barely two days before the 21-year-old is scheduled to play in his 50th NRL game on Friday night at BlueBet Stadium against the Eels.
The Panthers junior has been in three Test matches for Samoa, scored 24 tries in 49 top-flight games, and won two NRL premierships since making his Panthers debut in 2021.
“I’m thrilled to have re-signed with the team. It’s fantastic to secure my future at my home club for an additional few years, even if I was previously signed here for a few years,” Tago remarked.
“The Panthers juniors make up the majority of the squad, and we all have unique relationships, so for me I’m eager to stay here for as long as I possibly can.
Meanwhile, Bulldogs forward Max King has agreed to a new-deal which will see the 26-year-old remain at the club until the end of the 2027 season. The news comes after the club announced the signing of former Rabbitoh and Rooster Daniel Suluka-Fifita and former Kiwi international Zane Tetevano . Suluka-Fifita, 24, was granted a release by South Sydney from the final two years of his contract and heads to Belmore on a two-year deal. While 33-year-old Tetavane joins the club after spending the last three years with Leeds in the Super League following a stint with the Panthers in 2020. The Dragons have released Paul Turner from the remainder of his contract, effective immediately, to take up another contract overseas. Storm flyer Sua Fa’alogo has signed
a five-year contract extension that will keep the fullback in Melbourne.
The 20-year-old made an outstanding NRL and international debut last season, representing Samoa, and was promoted to the top 30 list for the 2024 campaign.
The Broncos and Roosters square off in Las Vegas on Sunday, and the latter has extended vice captain Luke Keary’s contract until the end of 2025.
The 32-year-old, three-time premiership winner has 142 game caps with the Roosters after joining the team in 2017. He just inked a one-year deal with them.
“I’m overjoyed to sign a one-year contract extension with the Roosters. I’m happy to continue improving as a player because we have a fantastic team here.

The news was released following Roosters prop Jared Waerea-Hargreaves’ announcement that he will join Hull KR in 2025 following his NRL retirement in the 2024 season.
Adam Reynolds, the captain of the Broncos, has agreed to a contract extension that will keep him in the NRL through the end of 2025, marking his 14th season.
Before moving to Brisbane in 2023 and winning a grand final with them, Reynolds spent 11 seasons playing 231 games for the Rabbitohs.
With 2254 points in his career, he is fourth all-time after Jarrod Croker, Cameron Smith, and Hazem El Masri.
