Congratulations to Al Horford and his wife as she expects her 6th child…

Amelia Vega, the former Miss Universe, usually shares the cutest pictures and videos of her family, but this time she seemed different. The Horford-Vega family recently revealed—literally—that they will be welcomed baby number three this year! Holding a baking pan full of lettered cookies that read “Baby in the oven,” Amelia, her husband, NBA basketball player Al Horford, and their two-year-old son Ean Joel Horford Vega and one-year-old daughter Alía Horford Vega grinned into the camera. They were dressed in blue and pink.

Although it’s yet unclear whether Amelia is having a boy or a girl, everyone can see how happy they are from the Instagram picture she posted. “A surprise! Happy to share that our family continues to expand,” Vega tweeted with the hashtag #baby6

Following the Dominican singer and actress’s announcement on social media, fans showered the family with blessings right away. One user commented, “You two are amazing parents. Congratulations.”

Amelia was crowned Miss Universe in 2003, making her the first and only Dominican woman to hold the title. At the age of eighteen, she was crowned in Panama, becoming the youngest Miss Universe winner since 1994 and the tallest winner ever, standing at six feet two inches. Amelia also took first place in the National Costume competition during the pageant.

Vega hails from a family of artists and beauty queens; her mother Patricia Polanco Álvarez represented the Dominican Republic in the Miss World pageant in 1980 and also held a national title. She is also the 33-year-old’s niece-in-law.
