Patrick Mahomes made an expensive Super Bowl promise to the Chiefs if they can avoid Las Vegas’ nightlife……
In his six seasons as a starter, Patrick Mahomes will make his fourth Super Bowl start on Sunday. Let’s just say that he has experience and understands what it takes to win the biggest game in American sports. He wants his fellow Kansas City Chiefs players to focus on winning during their time in Las Vegas this week.
Mahomes claimed on Monday night, Super Bowl opening night, that the Chiefs are on a “business trip.” The legendary quarterback wants his colleagues to wait to enjoy Las Vegas’ vibrant nightlife until after the Super Bowl on Sunday.
That’s one heck of a commitment from Mahomes. Paying for everyone to have the time of their life? I guess when you’re the face of the NFL, money is no object at the top of the NFL’s mountain.
