Maddison has now spoken out about Postecoglou’s training philosophy, saying that he prefers challenging workouts that equate to success on the field.
He also described Postecoglou’s emphasis on treating players like people in addition to professional athletes.
“He has come in and had his way of playing and his methods,” Maddison said to TalkSPORT.
“It’s contagious how he wants us to train every day. There is never a day when you can act half-heartedly.
Every day and every training session are challenging and intense, but we see the benefits of it on the field on Saturdays.
