West Ham, Brentford, Crystal Palace, Fulham, Bournemouth, and Nottingham Forest are among the clubs interested in signing a Tottenham target in 2024 – maybe in January, according to rumours.
Harry Kane, Erling Haaland, and Kylian Mbappe have all started the new campaign in the manner that you would anticipate.
Indeed, Mbappe has seven goals in seven games for PSG in Ligue 1, whereas Haaland has eight goals in eight games for Man City in the Premier League.
Kane has gone one step further, scoring eight goals in seven Bundesliga games. All three genuine superstars, though, are vastly outclassed by Stuttgart’s Serhou Guirassy.
The Guinea international, 27, has scored 13 goals in seven Bundesliga games this season. He has two hattricks and three braces to his credit.
Guirassy joined Stuttgart permanently from Rennes in the summer after excelling on loan the previous season.
His incredible goal-scoring heroics, however, have not gone unnoticed, and a number of Premier League clubs have taken notice.
January transfer is possible; a release clause exists.
TEAMtalk exclusively learned that Tottenham is one of the clubs interested in Guirassy.
During the previous window, the Spurs chose not to sign a direct replacement for Kane, instead investing the majority of their money on wide receiver Brennan Johnson.
Striker Alejo Veliz arrived from Rosario Central, but the 20-year-old Argentine is unlikely to make an immediate impact.
Dean Jones, our transfer expert, informed us that Spurs are considering a January move for Guirassy. The fact that Guirassy’s contract with Stuttgart includes a release clause worth roughly €20 million (approx. £17.3 million) simplifies the situation.
Jones also stated that West Ham have scouted Guirassy as a possible successor to Michail Antonio, 33. Hugo Ekitike of PSG is another player on David Moyes’ radar.
However, it has now been revealed that Fulham and Nottingham Forest are also interested in Guirassy. Furthermore, according to a new update from 90min, Brentford, Bournemouth, and Crystal Palace are all in the running.
90-minute state West Ham, Brentford, Bournemouth, and Palace have all recently dispatched scouts to see the striker. It has been said again that a January transfer is very much a possibility.
Of course, Stuttgart will do everything possible to keep its devastating frontman. However, with the release clause in place, they will be relying on the player’s devotion rather than a high price tag to repel would-be suitors.
