Sources: Leeds United is prepared to sue Nottingham Forest in court.
Leeds is preparing a shocking new financial turn by suing Nottingham Forest.
According to sources who spoke with Football Insider, senior Leeds United officials are prepared to demand payment should Forest be found guilty of breaking the Profit and Sustainability Rules.
Forest has been accused of breaking financial regulations by reportedly making more losses than they were permitted to during a three-year period.
Forest might lose points since they were only permitted to lose £61 million in the previous three seasons, as Football Insider disclosed.
Forest will get the results of their case before the conclusion of the 2023–24 season, in accordance with the Premier League’s new fast-track regulations.
According to iNews, Simon Leaf, head of sport at Mishcon de Reya LLP, said that if Forest’s complaints are upheld, “the floodgates will open” for legal claims.
