“I’m just happy to be able to go out there and represent the organization, I know Joel goes, and I think he’s gone every year for the past, I don’t know, six, seven, however many years it’s been, so for him not to be able to go this year because of an injury,” said the 23-year-old, “for me to be able to my first selection and to represent the Sixers, it’s a good deal, and I’m happy for it.” The 23-year-old will participate in the Skills Challenge, which is scheduled for Saturday night at 8 p.m. EST, in addition to the All-Star game on Sunday night. PHILADELPHIA: Buddy Hield, the guard for the Philadelphia 76ers, has been quite successful statistically in his first four games with the organization. That’s the fun part of being a professional. It’s always a new challenge so I’m up for it. It’s a part of the NBA. It’s no crying in basketball. You get paid to do this job so you adapt.”
