Ange Postecoglou appears eager to add another central defender to N17, even with Radu Dragusin’s £26 million transfer from Genoa.
Adarabioyo’s present terms at Craven Cottage expire on June 30th, and according to the Calciomercato report, he has no intention of signing a new one.
West Ham has also been cited as an interested party in a move to sign the Fulham No. 4; AC Milan is reportedly keen on the deal as well.
It appears that Tottenham has long liked Adarabioyo, and the Englishman would be “up” for a move to Spurs, according to Alasdair Gold of Football London.
The dependable reporter stated on the Gold and Guest Talk Tottenham Podcast: “We have discussed Tosin Adarabioyo at Fulham, and Spurs have undoubtedly continued to be interested in him.”
“I know he would be willing to join the Spurs if a deal could be reached by all parties, but it probably wouldn’t help him as much financially.”
Adarabioyo, who Marco Silva referred to as a “special” talent, has made 16 appearances for Fulham this season across all competitions, tallying one goal.
As previously said, despite Dragusin’s arrival, Postecoglou appears eager to recruit another central defender, as Tottenham has also been linked to a transfer for Bologna No. 33 Riccardo Calafiori.
According to Corriere di Bologna, Spurs are keeping an eye on the Italy U21 international.
But Bologna values Calafiori at £26 million, while Adarabioyo would be free, so the Fulham titan appears to be the more likely signing, at least in our opinion.
Ashley Phillips, a loanee from Tottenham Hotspur, appears to be winning over Plymouth Argyle supporters based on his previous performances.
Since Ange Postecoglou arrived at Hotspur Way in the summer, a number of new faces have passed through the doors.
Phillips was one of the youthful prospects to join N17 following his permanent transfer from Championship team Blackburn Rovers.
He was sent out on loan in January, so it’s clear he’s making an impression for the Pilgrims.
Despite only joining last month, the 18-year-old defender seemed to have already won over the supporters.
Fans seemed to be impressed by the Spurs player, even though the Championship team may have suffered a setback against Leeds United in their most recent FA Cup match.
Thanks to Phillips’ performance, fans flocked to his X post-game reaction.
