Luke Getsy will likely be the next offensive coordinator for the Las Vegas Raiders. It was widely anticipated that Las Vegas would appoint Kliff Kingsbury, so they moved swiftly.
The Las Vegas Raiders allegedly plan to employ former Chicago Bears offensive coordinator Luke Getsy as their new offensive coordinator, after originally hoping to sign Kliff Kingsbury.
Getsy and the Raiders are reportedly in negotiations to go official shortly, according to Albert Breer. Getsy was the offensive coordinator for the Bears for the previous two seasons.
The development of quarterback Justin Fields was his responsibility. But the Bears offense finished in the lowest half of the league in terms of total yards and scoring throughout both of Getsy’s seasons in Chicago.
Getsy worked for the Green Bay Packers before moving to Chicago, holding a number of roles such as wide receiver coach, quarterback coach, and coordinator of the passing game. Getsy has therefore already had experience working with Davante Adams, the top offensive player on the Raiders.
Getsy will have to turn around an offense in Las Vegas that has been struggling lately, particularly this season. Though he might not have the same name as Kingsbury or the same notoriety, Getsy is well regarded in the NFL and had a strong interview with the Raiders prior to selecting Kingsbury.
After spending time with the New York Giants, Getsy finds himself in a situation akin to that of Raiders defensive coordinator Patrick Graham. Both needed a better setting in their next opportunity because they were leaving a team with problems far bigger than anything they could control.

Simoni and Sacchi looked out onto the yard, which was begging for some color and expert landscaping.
“The grounds had been neglected,” remarked 73-year-old Sacchi. “I added perennial beds all around the property in collaboration with a local gardener.”

The house also needed work done on the spacious balconies on two levels. The composite wood stuff there was something the couple detested, and the decks were starting to bow as well. Simoni and Sacchi decided to replace them with ipe, a very elegant and robust Brazilian hardwood.
