Players on the Miami Dolphins gave Vic Fangio some grief when he left to become the defensive coordinator for the Philadelphia Eagles. Ron Jaworski has addressed those detractors.
Fangio served as the Dolphins’ defensive coordinator in 2023 after serving as an Eagles consultant in 2022. After the season, he and the Dolphins parted ways, and the Eagles swiftly brought him on as their DC.
Tyreek Hill, the standout receiver for the Dolphins, spoke well of Fangio but also suggested that there was a divide between the 65-year-old coach and his team.
Hill stated of Fangio, “Even though it was brief, I learned a lot from him.” “He is truly an expert in defense. All he needs to do is figure out how to blend in with his players.
That is a great deal of criticism directed at Fangio, a renowned coach in the league for a long time.

Although Fangio has been a respected coach in the league for a long time, there is a lot of criticism directed at him.
In a radio interview, Jaworski, a longtime Eagles quarterback, supported his friend Fangio.
On Tuesday, Jaws made an appearance on the WIP Morning Show in Philadelphia alongside Joe DeCamara and Jon Ritchie.
Jaws called the players who voiced their complaints about Fangio lazy.
“Coaches coach. I have connections as well around this league and I hear another side of that story, that there were some players on that defense that didn’t want to work. Didn’t want to put the time in, didn’t want to put the effort in, didn’t want to make the commitment to be successful. Guys like to party at night and South Beach is really a great place to party. And Vic tried to get those guys and push those guys to become harder workers and better athletes, and more committed to their team. And he couldn’t get through to those guys. Those were the guys that Vic was pushing and they’re the guys that are whining right now,” Jaws said.
Several Dolphins players are represented by a player agent, who stated last week that “quite a few players on the team that didn’t necessarily get along with Fangio.”
Was there an issue with Fangio or the Dolphins players in Miami? Maybe we will know the answer next season if Fangio can improve the defense performance of the Eagles

Even after leading his San Francisco 49ers to the Super Bowl, Brock Purdy continues to face criticism from his younger brother. Following Brock’s 49ers’ 34-31 comeback win over the Detroit Lions in the previous game,
For the second consecutive offseason, Ben Johnson chose to rejoin the Detroit Lions rather than accept a head coaching position elsewhere. Regarding Johnson’s choice, the official response we got was that he had “unfinished business.”
There were plenty of quarterbacks selected in the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft, with five of them selected. It is surprising that the first player in that group of five to make it to the Super Bowl. Overall, Baker Mayfield was ranked first.
The selection of the Green Bay Packers as their new defensive coordinator was a highly surprising move. According to ESPN’s Pete Thamel, Jeff Hafley, the head coach at Boston College, is leaving to take a position as defensive coordinator in Green Bay. Hafley recently completed his
Since Mike Macdonald was appointed head coach of the Seattle Seahawks, the only NFL team without a head coach is the Washington Commanders. Although Ben Johnson was long considered the front-runner for the position,
