How the Seahawks Can ‘Seal’ Coach Dan Quinn, According to an NFL Insider
The Seattle Seahawks are doing all in their power to find Pete Carroll’s replacement as the hunt is still ongoing.
Dan Quinn is the name that keeps cropping up among all the coaching prospects that the Seahawks are considering.
The defensive coordinator for the Dallas Cowboys is regarded as the front-runner to take over the Seattle Seahawks. He has experience in Seattle, having been a member of the coaching staff that produced the renowned “Legion of Boom.”
Quinn’s prior relationship with the Seahawks “could seal it,” according to ESPN’s NFL analyst Jeremy Fowler, who also called Quinn’s move to Seattle an excellent fit. However, anything can happen.
“The Quinn connection very well could seal it, as he’s set to meet in-person with Seahawks brass today,” adds Fowler. “Quinn fits in perfectly and is aware of the culture. One issue remains: Does Jody Allen, the team’s relatively new owner, want to change the Seahawks’ culture in a way that deviates from the Carroll tree? Let’s see.
