Rick Boogs Believes WWE Terminated Him Over Backstage Political Power Play
On Thursday, WWE let go of a number of performers, including Quincy Elliott, Shanky, Bryson Montana, Yulisa Leon, Dabba-Kato, Kevin Ventura-Cortez, Alexis Gray, & Daniel McArthur from NXT as well as Dolph Ziggler, Mustafa Ali, Elias, Shelton Benjamin, Riddick Moss, Emma, Aliyah, & “Top Dolla” AJ Francis from the main roster.
Also released was Rick Boogs, who joined WWE in 2017.
Boogs said in a YouTube video that he thinks backstage politics were involved in his release. He stated:
“It’s been an interesting time in my life with my job in WWE being terminated due to a backstage political powerplay, at least that’s my opinion of it. But now is not the time to talk about that. I will get into detail about that when the time is right. It’s not time, but when I do and can speak freely, it’s going to be juicy. I’m talking about all the nitty gritty details.”
