Any crowd may be captivated by Luke Bryan’s thunderous ditties—until the Green Bay Packers, that is.
Video from LB’s performance at “Crash My Playa,” a four-night Cancún musical event produced by Luke himself, was obtained by TMZ on Saturday night. Everyone appeared to be really into the music, with the exception of one devoted GB fan.
You can’t make this type of crap up. This fan was watching the Pack play the San Francisco 49ers in the second round of the playoffs, but his face was buried in his phone.
And he wasn’t sitting in the nosebleeds either—look at that view! a few steps away from Luke Bryan electrifying the audience with his hits. Yes, the concert seemed very amazing.
To be fair, it doesn’t appear like Mr. Green Bay was playing the NFL theme music, and it was a rather significant game; nonetheless, it still seems odd to attend the performance if you’re thinking about the game all the while.
Perhaps he purchased tickets months ago, when Green Bay had almost little chance of qualifying for the playoffs—that is, until they won their final three games and narrowly defeated the Seattle Seahawks for the final berth.
Sadly, ‘Frisco pulled off a thrilling 24-21 victory, so the Packers game didn’t end well for this ardent fan’s team. A key rival of GB, the Detroit Lions, will be the opponent in the NFC Championship game next weekend, which is an insult to injury alert.
Jay Gruden recently escalated his resentment for Robert Griffin III to a whole new level by taking a petty jab at his former quarterback that he felt compelled to remove.
In case you haven’t been watching on X this week, the former quarterback and head coach of Washington have been at each other’s throats ever since Gruden made a statement during Monday night’s Eagles vs. Buccaneers playoff game.
The 33-year-old said on his podcast that after a game in 2014, Gruden asked him to criticize his teammates; he then alleges the coach abandoned him.
At that point, Gruden lost it and implied in a tweet that nobody in the NFL liked RGIII.
Jay apologized on his X page, saying, “If I ever put a QB through what Philly is putting Jalen [Hurts] through, I apologize.” Playing for Gruden in 2014, RGIII swiftly responded with a “Say WHATTTT???” before the two started fighting.
The boys traded some jabs, and just when it appeared that their argument was over, Griffin III brought it up again on his podcast on Thursday night.
Jay wrote, “You weren’t good enough.” “Kirk [Cousins] was better.”
He went on, “Cleveland didn’t want you.” Baltimore also didn’t. Give up blaming me.
A short while later, Jay removed the post and replaced it with a clip showing RGIII running with the Seahawks live mascot during Seattle’s pregame festivities earlier in the season.
Since then, RGIII has replied to Gruden once again, stating, “The Pigeon name is more respected than your last name.”
The argument has now paused, but based on how this week has gone thus far, it seems reasonable to believe that it will get back up shortly.
