Inside The Ropes received the latest numbers from WWE and the report reveals that NXT was watched by 857,000, which is up an impressive 35% from the go-home episode the week before.

WWE NXT Stacking The Card For Next Tuesday
This week’s episode of NXT had some major reveals for the following week as the show announced that several major stars would be appearing on the program and that they’d be involved in a big way to boot. John Cena is set to be in the corner for Carmelo Hayes as the former NXT Champion takes on another former NXT Champion in Bron Breakker. However, the son of Rick Steiner will not be alone as Breakker will be joined by Paul Heyman.
Additionally former NXT Women’s Champion Asuka will be returning to battle Roxanne Perez in singles action. If Perez can get the upset on Asuka then she’ll be granted a title match against Becky Lynch.
Finally, NXT will welcome Cody Rhodes to The Capital Wrestling Center as “The American Nightmare” will have a major announcement to make.
All these major names appearing is not without reason, however. It so happens that AEW Dynamite will be airing Tuesday night as well due to MLB Playoffs. That program is expected to be big too because not only is it Tony Khan’s birthday, but it will feature the first AEW match of Adam Copeland.
