Following a brutal defeat of Masters opponent Ali Carter, Ronnie O’Sullivan has retracted remarks indicating he desired eight victories at each Triple Crown tournament.
The 48-year-old defeated Carter 10-7 at Alexandra Palace on Sunday to win the Masters for the eighth time in his career. In addition, O’Sullivan has eight championships from the UK Championship after defeating Ding Junhui last month.
