“My my, was he going at [Jurgen] Klopp. I don’t know if it was his Everton roots.
He and Klopp were simply arguing at one point in the first half, following a minor foul.
“And Richarlison kind of turned to face him and just began muttering, “whatever, whatever, mate, whatever.
“And then, following Curtis Jones’ dismissal, Richarlison shouted something more, walked over, and started yelling at Klopp once more. [Ange] Postecoglou promptly forced him to leave.
“As if to suggest, don’t get yourself dragged into anything foolish that you also wind up getting punished for. I suppose Richarlison ultimately came out on top.
Richarlison and Klopp are both fiery individuals, but in the end, the Tottenham star triumphed.
After Brennan Johnson joined the team, he will have more competition for a spot in the side, but his dedication to training has already secured him a spot.
Richarlison’s on-field efforts have not gone unnoticed, and he could be the newest player to gain from Postecoglou’s turnaround of Tottenham’s fortunes.
