Following her teammate’s double entendre at a news conference, Caitlin Clark burst out laughing.
The poise that Caitlin Clark possesses on the court is not always evident off it.
After the Indiana Fever’s 84-80 victory over the Connecticut Sun on August 28, teammate Lexie Hull unintentionally made a crude remark when questioned about her defense. The rookie couldn’t contain her laughing during the team’s postgame press conference.
Hull added that she attempted to “grab as many balls as I could,” which made Clark laugh and put her face in her hands. Hull and Kelsey Mitchell, who was addressing the media as well, burst out laughing immediately.

The Fever uploaded a video on X with the comment, “The squad was ecstatic to meet Simone Biles and Gabby Thomas after our win at @GainbridgeFH. the reactions,” coupled with an emoticon of tears and raised palms.
Certainly, the encounter astonished Clark.
