On Wednesday, July 31, the WNBA player and her Indiana Fever colleague Lexie Hull went onstage with country music artist Jordan Davis for a song during his tour stop in Indianapolis. The two came out for Davis’ show’s finale, according to Indiana Pacers and Fever writer Scott Agness, who shared a video of their appearance on X (previously Twitter). For their performance of Davis’ hit song “Buy Dirt,” Hull, 24, wore a dress and boots, while Clark, 22, wore a black tank, cutoffs, and a ball cap.
Off-stage, the rookie sensation and second-year guard nodded to pals before embracing the singer as the Everwise Amphitheater crowd excitedly sung along. On Tuesday, July 30, the Iowa standout informed reporters that she had seen “a good amount” of the Summer Olympics in Paris. “Yesterday, I watched USA Women. It was enjoyable. I looked at the men from USA. I make an effort to watch a lot,” she remarked. “Obviously, the perfect time is during practice with the time change in Paris, so maybe Christie [Sides] should cancel practice so I can watch more of the Olympics.” On Thursday, August 1, Team USA women’s basketball is slated to play Belgium in its second game at the Paris Games. On Monday, July 29, the team played its first game against Japan, which they won 102-76.
Earlier this month, Clark, Angel Reese and their fellow WNBA All-Star Team members took on the U.S. Women’s National Team in advance of the Games.
On Saturday, July 20, the All-Star team beat Team USA 117-109 in a highly anticipated competition that was only the second of its kind, after the WNBA All-Star Team played the U.S. Women’s National Team in 2021 ahead of the Tokyo Olympics.
