Vikings’ #2 wide receiver Jordan Addison escapes serious harm, but his ankle ailment will cause him to miss time.
Ohio’s BEREA (AP) — After two days, the Vikings avoided suffering a second major injury loss.
Jordan Addison, the No. 2 wide receiver for Minnesota, hurt his left ankle on Wednesday. This happened just a few hours after rookie quarterback J.J. McCarthy of the Vikings was declared out for the season due to knee surgery. Addison will likely miss some time.

The Vikings take on the New York Giants on September 8 to kick off the regular season.
