With her hot dog take, Caitlin Clark whips Indiana Fever supporters into a frenzy.
The Fever’s star player is helping them turn things around.
Thanks to Caitlin Clark’s outstanding performance, things are starting to look up for the Indiana Fever.
The Fever are presently on track to top their all-time record of 13 victories this season—a feat they haven’t accomplished since 2016.
With 14 games remaining, the team is currently 11-15. A big part of their recent success can be attributed to Clark, who has lived up to the hype ever since being selected first overall in the WNBA Draft.
Fever supporters become stir-crazy over Clark.
On their X account, The Fever recently questioned multiple players “What’s the most questionable food combo?” in a question of the day post.
Clark answered without holding back, saying, “Mayo on hot dogs. You are aware of who you are.”
Many Fever fans took exception with that response, with many defending mayo on hot dogs.
“Is my girl Caitlin making fun of me? One admirer commented, “Mayo/ketchup on hotdog is the bomb!” Another said, “Mayo dog at airport at 8am is the best!”
The question, “So is [Caitlin Clark] calling out [Connor McCaffrey] and [Kate Martin] for Mayo on a hot dog?” was put forth by one fan as to who Clark was criticizing.
Other players for the Fever joined in on the discussion as well; Katie Lou Samuelson questioned the use of ketchup on mac & cheese.
Aliyah Boston expressed her dislike of pickles, while Erica Wheeler stated she doesn’t like pineapple on pizza.
