WNBA: CHICAGO SKY defeats Indiana Fever, led by Angel Reese’s career-best performance over Cairtin Clark.
Angel Reese recorded her eighth consecutive double-double, becoming the first rookie since A’ja Wilson to have 25+ points and 15+ rebounds in a single game. Reese’s matchup with the Indiana Fever and Caitlin Clark did not let down. Following their victory over the Atlanta Dream, the New York Liberty have emerged as the new WNBA league leaders.
In a thrilling victory over Indiana Fever in Illinois, Chicago Sky overcame a 15-point hole behind the scoring of Angel Reese, who finished with 25 points and 16 rebounds.
That was in spite of Caitlin Clark of the Fever, who recorded a franchise-high 13 assists in addition to scoring 17 points for her group.
