LeBron James is regarded by Larry Bird as one of the greats, if not the best of all time.
LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers is not well-liked or adored by Boston Celtics fans. James has been Boston’s antagonist and counterbalance since he entered the league in 2003, but one Celtics supporter believes it’s time for supporters to stop criticizing and start cheering for James. Recently, NBA legend Larry Bird gave his explanation on why he believes James, 39, deserves to be honored by his peers.
Bird said, “Stop whining about LeBron.” “While he’s here, enjoy him.” He’s amazing. He is among the best, if not the best, person in history.

In the Barclays Center on Sunday night, LeBron James came close to setting a new record.
James scored 40 points and made an almost flawless 9 of 10 from beyond the arc to help the Los Angeles Lakers defeat the Brooklyn Nets 116-104. His season high of 40 points and his all-time personal best of nine made 3-pointers were both achieved.
It wasn’t as efficient as the first time he accomplished the feat, but it still didn’t break his record. James was 9 out of 14 from behind the arc during the particular period last season against the Los Angeles Clippers.
James has now become just the second player in Lakers history to make nine 3-pointers in a single game on four separate occasions, after Kobe Bryant did so four times.
in his career. James, though, is the first player to hit the nine 3-pointers while shooting 90% from that range.
The Lakers took the lead from the jump on Sunday, and they led the entire way. They actually opened the game on a long 17-0 run and held the Nets scoreless for more than half of the first quarter before taking a 21-point lead after the first 12 minutes. From there, it was smooth sailing to the 12-point win.
Rui Hachimura ended with 20 points and 10 rebounds, and Anthony Davis added 24 points and 14 rebounds for the Lakers while shooting 9 of 12 from the field. The Lakers’ five starting players all scored in double figures, while their lone bench point of the game came from Gabe Vincent’s one-and-only field goal.
Mikal Bridges finished with 13 points and four assists despite shooting just 3-of-11 from outside the arc, while Cam Thomas led the Nets with 30 points in the defeat. The Nets’ three-game winning streak was ended by the defeat, which dropped their season total to 29-46. They are 5.5 games behind the Atlanta Hawks for the final postseason place in the Eastern Conference standings. Each club in the standings that is beneath the Nets has
already out of the running for the playoffs.
Following the victory, James and the Lakers have a 42-33 record, placing them seventh in the Western Conference rankings. With seven games remaining in the regular season, they lead the Golden State Warriors by two games in the standings.
