Breaking News: Dak Prescott States reasons why the “COWBOYS” Coach should be fired……..
After yet another playoff defeat, Dak Prescott jumped to Mike McCarthy’s defense when speculation about the future of the Cowboys head coach and his quarterback began to circulate.
At AT&T Stadium on Sunday, Dallas was defeated 48–32, marking the Cowboys’ third loss in their last four postseason contests under McCarthy.
Because of the “high expectation” and “hope” around this club, owner Jerry Jones referred to it as “the most painful” postseason loss of his 35-year tenure.
The outcome raised questions about McCarthy’s and Prescott’s futures. Following the game, the quarterback defended his head coach, accepted responsibility for Sunday’s defeat, and conceded that he “sucked.”
“He has been outstanding.” “I understand the business, but I’m not sure how there can be questions about his status,” Prescott remarked.
If so, truthfully, there need to be something about myself as well. That guy, really, is the reason I’ve had this season. It is mostly down to him that this team has had such success.
“I know it’s all about winning the Super Bowl; that’s the league standard, and it’s definitely the standard here.” I understand. But in that case, please include me on the list.
After Jordan Love’s outstanding performance that night, Prescott offered a brutally honest evaluation of his own play.
“Tonight was terrible,” Prescott remarked. That was it. It took me a little while to get it rolling, but at that point, it made no difference. I struggled. Really, that’s all I know how to do.
‘But it’s about winning. It’s about winning in the playoffs and then getting to the last game and winning that as well. It’s tough.’
