Breaking: Philadelphia 76ers and Milwaukee Bucks Make A Trade
The Athletic and Stadium’s Shams Charania reports that the Bucks and 76ers have completed a trade.
The Minnesota Timberwolves will visit the Milwaukee Bucks on Thursday night in Wisconsin.
The Athletic and Stadium’s Shams Charania revealed before to the game that the team had traded for Patrick Beverley from the Philadelphia 76ers.
According to Charania: “Milwaukee is acquiring Patrick Beverley from the 76ers for Cam Payne and a second-round pick, sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium.”Beverley, who has participated in 47 games, shoots 32.1% from three-point range and 43.2% from the field while averaging 6.3 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 3.1 assists per game.
During his 12 seasons in the NBA, he has played for the 76ers, Houston Rockets, Los Angeles Clippers, Miami Heat, Minnesota Timberwolves, Los Angeles Lakers, and Chicago Bulls.
With a 33-18 record through 51 games, the Bucks now hold the third seed in the Eastern Conference.Payne has participated in 47 games and, while shooting 45.5% from the field and 39.7% from three-point range, he averages 6.2 points, 1.3 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game.
He has previously played for the Chicago Bulls, Cleveland Cavaliers, Oklahoma City Thunder, and Phoenix Suns in addition to the Bucks.
