Carson Lawrence Breaks Down Tennessee Offer
After his Tennessee offer, the three-star athlete recently visited Volunteer Country. “Receiving the Tennessee offer was exciting,” Lawrence said. “In particular, growing up in Tennessee and seeing them play when I was younger. It’s what a child from Tennessee dreams about.”
Lawrence, who is committed to Vanderbilt, spoke more about his Tennessee offer and how it influences his current recruiting. “Definitely a bigger one now that they’ve offered.” Carson Gentle, a defensive line recruit for Tennessee, and Marcellus Barnes, a cornerback from Syracuse, were teammates of Lawrence. Keeyshawn Schneider, his teammate and 2026 wide receiver, also got an offer from Tennessee during around the same period. Tennessee has made it a priority to both recruit and retain its in-state players.
