Late in the fourth quarter, Purdy led a 12-play, 69-yard touchdown drive that helped the San Francisco 49ers pull out a 24-21 victory.
After three lead changes in the third quarter, the Green Bay Packers led 21-14 going into the fourth quarter. However, halfway through the last frame, San Francisco’s momentum began to turn in favor of the Packers as kicker Anders Carlson missed a 41-yard field goal wide left.
After Carlson missed a field goal, Purdy and the 49ers went on what turned out to be the game-winning touchdown drive.
With less than two minutes remaining in the fourth quarter, the Packers had an opportunity to equal or take the lead, but Jordan Love misplayed a ball.In the defeat, Love completed 194 passing yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions. Aaron Jones, a running back for the Packers, gained 108 rushing yards.
Despite missing several throws, Purdy had an uneven performance, passing for 252 yards and one touchdown.The 49ers defense was led by Greenlaw and Fred Warner. Together, the two standout linebackers racked up 15 tackles, with Greenlaw recording two interceptions.

Even though Brock Purdy’s performance was uneven, he made the best drive of the evening when the 49ers most needed it. During the 12-play drive, Purdy completed six passes, one of which was on third-and-five to keep San Francisco in the lead. Keisean Nixon, a two-time All-Pro return player, almost squandered a 73-yard kick return.
On a kickoff return, Nixon barreled past 49ers special team players, only to have the football jerked free of him inside San Francisco’s 30-yard line. Nixon was lucky, though, as Packers wide receiver Eric Wilson suddenly lunged for the ball and recovered it safely at the 49ers’ 20-yard line.After four plays, tight end Tucker Kraft was the recipient of a 2-yard touchdown throw from Packers quarterback Jordan Love. With 5:23 remaining in the third quarter, the Packers then successfully scored a two-point conversion to take a 21-14 lead.
In the last three possessions, there have been three lead changes.Nixon has two returns for 97 yards. 49ers 14, Packers 13: A 39-yard touchdown run by Christian McCaffrey gives the 49ers the lead.
The 49ers responded immediately with a touchdown of their own. In just four plays, they marched 75 yards down the field to give them a 14–13 lead over the Packers. Running back Christian McCaffrey and tight end George Kittle, two of San Francisco’s top players, helped them achieve this.

The Packers made the most of San Francisco’s 41-yard pass interference penalty.
49ers cornerback Ambry Thomas threw a punch at Packers wide receiver Bo Melton on a third-and-15 play. The football was moved to the San Francisco 19-yard line as a result of the penalty. Melton sealed the deal one play later, scoring a touchdown from 19 yards out to give Green Bay a 13–7 lead in the third quarter.

The night of Deebo Samuel came to an early end. On Saturday night, the wide receiver was hurt twice in the first half. During the 49ers’ opening drive, Samuel took a severe hit and required evaluation for a possible head injury. The 49ers gave Samuel the all-clear to play again, but on the team’s second play, the adaptable wide receiver hurt his shoulder. Samuel was initially seen by the 49ers as questionable to return in the second quarter. Samuel’s shoulder issue eventually caused them to downgrade him to out in the third quarter. During the second half, he was observed strolling down the 49ers’ sideline while wearing a hoodie. With two catches for 24 receiving yards, Samuel’s night came to an end. – Tyler Dragon

The 49ers lead the Packers 7–6 at halftime as they head into the locker room. If Packers defensive end Colby Wooden hadn’t blocked San Francisco kicker Jake Moody’s 48-yard field goal in the closing seconds of the half, the margin may have been higher. Both teams missed a number of opportunities in the first half. In three red zone visits, Packers quarterback Jordan Love was unable to find the end zone, and safety Darnell Savage Jr. mishandled a clear interception that would have been returned for significant yards, if not a pick-six. Aaron Jones has ran for 49 yards this game, while Love has completed 10 passes for 115 yards. QB Brock Purdy’s 32-yard pass to tight end George Kittle was the only touchdown of the first half. With receiver Deebo Samuel out of the game in the first quarter to be assessed for an injury, Purdy has completed 10 passes for 125 yards and one touchdown. He was given the all-clear to go back, but not before injuring his shoulder.

Romeo Doubs, the Packers’ receiver, got a 22-yard ball on his tiptoes along the sideline to get them to the 49ers’ 9-yard line.Against the Packers, the 49ers defense made a strong stand in the red zone.
Although Green Bay appeared ready to extend their advantage by three points, they were halted just inches shy of converting on a fourth down. Packers quarterback Jordan Love tried a tush push on a fourth and 1 at the San Francisco 14-yard line in an attempt to gain a first down. Referees marked the ball just short, even though it appeared close, and the chains supported that assessment.
