In response, the Kansas City community and the Kansas City Packers have extended their condolences to each other. “The Packers Family was deeply saddened today to see the senseless act of violence in Kansas City,” a statement from the organization said. We are thinking of the victims, their families, the Chiefs franchise, and their supporters.
Following the Super Bowl parade, there were gunshots near Union Station’s stage, which resulted in the death of a local DJ and the injuries of 21, some of them were children.
Police in Kansas City claim to have arrested three armed individuals, but they did not specify whether or not they were connected to the shootings.
