‘We Got Him Today!’ Bills quarterback Josh Allen wins a golf match against Tom Brady.
Josh Allen, the quarterback for the Buffalo Bills, ultimately defeated NFL icon Tom Brady for the first time in his career.
Granted, the win wasn’t in football, but any triumph is cause for celebration. This past weekend, Allen and Brady participated in the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am 2024 Golf Tournament in California, with the former coming out on top. Brady and former PGA Championship champion Keegan Bradly shared for 20th place at -12 as of Saturday, while Allen and professional golfer Keith Mitchell finished tied for sixth at -14.
Allen seized the chance to celebrate his triumph over Brady, despite the fact that it wasn’t in his primary sport.
If my memory serves me correctly, this is the first time I’ve ever defeated him in anything. It’s quite pleasant,” Allen remarked. It should have happened on the football field, in my opinion. In football, I did not defeat him. We engaged in that match a few years back. Then, I didn’t understand him. We finally received him today, and it feels wonderful.
Though there is a tremendous deal of respect between the two quarterbacks, all bets are off when it comes to competition.
