Kellen Moore of the Chargers is anticipated to be hired by the Eagles as their offensive coordinator.

According to reports from NFL Network Insiders Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero on Saturday night, Philadelphia is set to select Chargers offensive coordinator Kellen Moore as their new offensive coordinator.
Moore played for Los Angeles during the 2023 season, which was turbulent owing to the dismissal of head coach Brandon Staley on December 15 and the injury that kept franchise cornerstone Justin Herbert out of the last four games. In those conditions, the Chargers offense stuttered to a score ranking in the bottom twelve.
But prior to that, Moore had served as a coach with the Cowboys, Philadelphia’s main NFC East rival. In 2018, Moore became a QBs coach with America’s Team after a brief professional career in which he made his only two career starts at quarterback for Dallas.
In 2019, he rose quickly to the post of offensive coordinator, a role he retained for four years, during which he called plays for Mike McCarthy for three seasons between 2020 and 2022.
The Cowboys topped the NFL in yards twice while he was offensive coordinator. In 2021, they tied the record in scoring.
Even though Moore has moved places three times in as many years, the 34-year-old is still regarded as one of the best offensive brains in the league.
According to Rapoport and Pelissero, Dallas had a top-five scoring unit even during the season that resulted in Moore and the Cowboys parting ways. The Chargers had been preventing Moore from interviews until they hired Jim Harbaugh on Wednesday.
As a result, Moore joined in just three days thanks to Philly’s quick thinking.
