Marhall’s fourth studio album, MMLP2, is the first to hit the 3.7 billion streams mark on the site.
The album, which is a follow-up to “The Marshall Mathers LP,” was released in 2013 and sold over 792,000 copies in its first week, debuting at number one on the US Billboard 200. Later, at the 2015 Grammy Awards, it brought Eminem a record-breaking sixth Grammy Award for Best Rap Album. The album was awarded 4x Platinum by the RIAA in 2017, but the certification has not been updated subsequently. According to Chartmasters, MMLP2 has sold more than 12.8 million equivalent album copies worldwide.
