Bulcsu Revesz of Hungary created history by becoming the first-ever main tour professional in his nation after winning the 2024 WSF Junior Championship.

WSF President Jason Ferguson greeted friends and delegates from member federations all across the world and inaugurated the conference.
The members overwhelmingly approved the independently audited finances, demonstrating that the WSF is in a strong and stable position going into 2024.
The Board acknowledged the success of the 2023 WSF Championships, which took place in Sydney, Australia, at the beginning of the year. Ma Hailong, a gifted junior player, and Stan Moody, a skilled junior player, emerged victors and were awarded spots on the World Snooker Tour for the ensuing two years. The President acknowledged the departure of friend and colleague John Terry back in May, who will be missed by all, and praised the WSF management staff and Board members for their outstanding efforts over the previous six years.
