Josh Allen is dating Hailee Steinfeld during the off-season.
The 27-year-old Hawkeye actress and the Buffalo Bills quarterback, 27, were pictured together on Sunday in Laguna Niguel, California. A week had passed since the Bills’ season-ending 27-24 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.
After being spotted together in New York City in May 2023, the two were initially connected romantically. According to a source who spoke with PEOPLE that same month, they had been “hanging out for a few weeks” and were a “cute couple.”
The insider continued, “It’s new, but they are having fun.”

They went to the Buffalo Sabres’ season-opening game against the New York Rangers in October, marking their first public appearance. Allen told PEOPLE in the same month that he makes an effort “to stay under the radar.”
He told PEOPLE how he loves to wind down after a big game: “Hopefully, if there’s no ailments, I can just go home after that and turn on a few movies at the house, cook a home-cooked meal, and call it a night.”
At the time, Allen discussed his commercial and collaboration with Cash App with PEOPLE. He also mentioned that appearing in front of the camera is “kind of challenging.”
“Instead of simply sitting there and snapping a picture or whatever, I think it’s interesting for me to have a little challenge in that regard. I put on my acting hat and give it my best shot. Though enjoyable, I like to stick to football,” he remarked.
Steinfeld supported Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, in which she voices Gwen Stacy, by attending the 2024 Golden Globes earlier this month.
Steinfeld had previously told PEOPLE that she was thrilled to have been a part of the animated flick, which was nominated for best motion picture.
