Jaire Alexander, a cornerback for the Green Bay Packers, addressed rumors in the media regarding his future with the organization
The 2023–24 NFL season was quite hopeful for the Green Bay Packers. They made NFL playoff history by being the first 7-seed to win a game. Some are saying that the Packers are ready to go all the way to the Super Bowl because of this.
The Packers must now examine their roster more carefully if they hope to contend in 2024. The CB Jaire Alexander piece is one of those pieces. There are rumors that he might be released by Green Bay before the 2024 NFL season officially begins. Alexander, though, is responding to some of the conjecture in the media.

Alexander expressed his gratitude for his time in Green Bay thus far in an Instagram post earlier today. He is grateful to everyone who has loved him along the way and for the six years he has played at Lambeau Field.
Bleacher Report Gridiron responded to this post. “Jaire cryptic IG post?” was the caption they wrote on the photo.Alexander, though, did not simply ignore that. With a message of his own, he replied. He captioned that response as follows:
When it comes to Alexander, March 20th is the date to watch. This is because Alexander will be entitled to a $8 million roster bonus if he remains on the Packers’ roster after that date. Alexander would not be entitled to that roster bonus if the Packers cut him before that deadline.
The Packers will also need to take the dead cap into account. In 2024, $3 million will remain against their salary cap for a player who is no longer with the organization if they cut Alexander before March 20th.
