In the main event of the evening, Jinder Mahal put in a tough test for world heavyweight champion Seth Rollins, but Rollins survived. In addition to Mahal, Rollins had to defeat a variety of characters at ringside.
Damian Priest, the holder of the Money in the Bank contract, and Indus Sher joined Mahal at the ringside. Rollins was able to reclaim his championship and proceed on his way to WrestleMania in spite of all those circumstances endangering his reign.

In a backstage interview, Seth Rollins asserted that maintaining his status as a fighting champion and defending his world heavyweight championship was the only path to WrestleMania. In addition, Rollins asserted that he will be facing the greatest Jinder Mahal of all time. Later in his interview, Mahal supported that statement by saying that the current situation has been developing for years.

During the bout, Damian Priest arrived at ringside carrying his Money in the Bank contract, and Indus Sher was present to support Mahal. Rollins kicked out when the Indus Sher tandem intervened, allowing Mahal to hit a Khallas. In addition, Drew McIntyre arrived at ringside, sparking an altercation with Priest that eliminated the possibility of a cash-in before Rollins completed the bout to keep the championship.Although it seemed a bit absurd for Rollins to promote Mahal by emphasizing how deserving he was of the chance considering that Mahal hadn’t triumphed in a main roster match on television since June 2022, WWE has always demonstrated a willingness to push people to the top of the card at the discretion of Triple H. Even yet, there was some good in-match drama to go along with the inevitable result. Furthermore, as we frequently state here, it’s difficult to be outraged over a world title battle that is broadcast on television, particularly when the other WWE world champion only competes a meager few times a year. Seeing several moving elements and distinct faces in the title image at the same time is also always pleasant.Cody Rhodes entered the ring for the show’s opening promo, at which point Drew McIntyre confronted him. DIY defeated JD McDonagh and Dominik Mysterio by pinfall when McDonagh was pinned by Johnny Gargano following a DIY hit called Meet in the Middle.
After Xavier Woods hurled a chair at Kaiser, Ludwig Kaiser defeated Woods by disqualification. Woods challenged Kaiser to a match, and Gunther praised his Imperium partner for defeating Kofi Kingston. Woods tried to carry on his attack after the match, but Kaiser managed to get away. Later in the show, Kaiser attacked Woods backstage.Ivar is defeated by pinfall by Akira Tozawa after a sunset flip powerbomb off the middle rope. After the match, Ivar and Valhalla gave Tozawa and Maxxine Dupri a beating. Ivy Nile and Chad Gable then pledged to hold Valhalla and Ivar accountable.
Becky Lynch declared her intention to pursue Rhea Ripley, promising to win the Royal Rumble and secure the match she desired.
