Bijan Robinson, a recent Texas Longhorns running back graduate, is not a native of the Lone Star State.
Arizona was his upbringing.
That being said, a Texan who supports the Longhorns doesn’t have to give up on their hopes of winning in the NFL Draft later this spring. That would be the situation if the Dallas Cowboys selected Robinson in the first round of the most recent mock draft, which was created by expert Mel Kiper.
According to ESPN: “… Team owner Jerry Jones has stated time and time again that Ezekiel Elliott is the most important player for the Cowboys. He has a fondness for star running backs, dating back to his 1990 Draft pick of Emmitt Smith in the first round.” Tony Pollard, who made the Pro Bowl this season, and Elliott may both be victims of the salary cap this summer.
