Derritt, a 280-pound player who stands 6-foot-2, participated in all 15 games for the Bison this season. He finished with 31 total stops, with 3.5 tackles for a loss (2.5 sacks). Over the course of his five-year career, Derritt has had 56 game appearances. He has 90 total tackles, 16 tackles for a loss, and 11 sacks. In 2022, he recorded a career-high seven tackles for a loss.
Derritt is already under consideration.

The Huskers would have greater depth up front for the 2024 campaign as a result. Derritt attended St. Thomas Aquinas High School in the Kansas City suburbs. The well-liked lineman has received offers from Cal, Kansas, Michigan State, and Minnesota; he may need to make many trips before deciding.
